Soleras Advanced Coatings has announced plans to expand rotary sputtering target production capacity in China. The expansion will increase capacity by 50% in our Jaingyin Facility. The increased capacity will enable Soleras to support the rapidly growing demand for rotary sputtering targets used to produce thin film coatings on displays.
The additional capacity will begin to come online in January 2018 and expansion will be completed by February 2018. “This expansion reflects the performance of rotary sputter coating used to produce thin film coatings in consumer electronic applications,” said Jeff Edel, Soleras’ CEO. “Soleras is committed to supporting our global customer base with the capacity and lead times they need.”
Soleras Advanced Coatings is a leading global provider of advanced materials and solutions used in the deposition of thin film coatings. Soleras’ products are used in a wide variety of applications including low energy efficient architectural and automotive glass, electrochromic windows, displays, consumer electronics and solar PV panels.
